Shmeet joined Gajic Lawyers in 2010 and quickly established herself as a valuable and respected member of the firm. She is the Compulsory Third Party (“CTP”) team leader in the Parramatta office managing a team of 4 members. She is highly experienced with a successful track record on settling a wide range of matters for her clients over the last 8 years at the firm.
Shmeet is very client focused taking a detailed interest to understand their situation and providing quality legal advice on their matters. As a leader, she takes pride in her work and is very thorough in how every case is run, backed by her commitment towards achieving the best outcome for her clients.
Shmeet completed her Bachelor of Laws at the prestigious Bond University in Queensland. She was admitted as a Legal Practitioner at the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2008, and completed her Practical Legal Training at a private practice, where she successfully handled an extensive number of cases in commercial litigation, family law, wills, estates, powers of attorney, conveyancing, criminal law, compensation and immigration law.
Shmeet is proficient across several languages including Malay, Indonesian, Hindi and Punjabi enabling her to be flexible in assisting client’s from a diverse cultural background.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and travelling.
